Vera Indenbaum
Textile Conservator in Private Practice
Vera Indenbaum has over 35 years of experience working in conservation and restoration of antique and tribal textiles. Born and educated in Moscow, Russia Vera was certified as a Textile Conservator by the Russian Ministry of Culture after her internships and work at the Moscow Kremlin Museum, Museum of Decorative Art (Moscow), Grobar Center of Art Conservation (Moscow), Gedemanis Center of Art Conservation (Vilnius, Lithuania) Center for Art Conservation (Baku, Azerbaijan).
After moving to the United States, Vera continued as a textile conservator in private practice. She founded Antique Textile Clinic in 1996. She has a wide range of skills working with all kinds of antique, ethnographic, and tribal textiles. Additional services provided by Antique Textile Clinic include:
